HOUSE

HOUSE is a new community for ambitious QTPOC folks thriving at the intersection of tech, creativity and culture.

HOUSE found me and other QTPOC folks back in June of 2020. Pride was virtual that year. We’d all been through several months of isolation, with the exception of marching in the streets for all Black lives, for social justice and against police brutality. And when we did go out, Covid wasn’t the only threat—there were actual tanks and the national guard greeting us. HOUSE came along at precisely the right moment.

I told the Founder, Hassan/Hass Mirza (He/Him), I’d love to help. That’s since looked like being part of the volunteer creative staff, helping with sponsorship and guest speaking.
