POINTED OUT HOW ACCEPTED DISCOVER IS...COMPARED TO OTHER THINGS IN YOUR AREA
Discover is accepted 99% of places nationwide. But unfortunately a significant amount of people believe Discover isn’t accepted at many businesses and establishments. This all-too-common misconception has been hurting Discover’s business for years.
During the briefing someone said the client was tired of having to combat this myth, especially because it’s their biggest barrier for new customer acquisition.
So I suggested banging the 99% acceptance drum over and over—but in a cheeky, confident and contextual way.
Discover is accepted 99% of places. But a lot of things are not.
To prove just how accepted Discover is, we brought into question what’s not as socially accepted, while tapping into common questionable behaviors, patterns and faux pas.
We created geotargeted/local OOH for NYC, Chicago, LA and D.C. as well as contextual OOH for public transportation, ride shares, grocery stores, restaurants, bars, clothing stores and more.
